Therapy Dog Programs

Our Therapy Dog Certification supports handlers and their dogs to work safely, ethically and confidently across a wide range of professional and community environments.

We assess, train and certify therapy dogs to ensure they meet national standards for behaviour, welfare and public interaction. Certification enables dogs to support wellbeing, connection and emotional regulation in real-world settings where calm, reliable behaviour is essential.

A Simple Way to Make a Lasting Impact

Therapy Dog Certification is suitable for handlers working in:

  • Schools

  • Aged Care Homes

  • Hospitals & Healthcare Settings

  • Counselling & Psychology Practices

  • Occupational Therapy

  • Crisis Response & Crisis Dogs

  • Community & Support Services

If you are a professional integrating a dog into your practice, or an organisation seeking certified therapy dog support, we help you meet the required standards.

What Certification Covers

Our certification process ensures dogs are:

  • Calm, predictable and safe in public environments

  • Comfortable around a range of people, mobility aids and environments

  • Able to respond reliably to their handler

  • Assessed with welfare-first, evidence-based methods

Certification focuses on suitability and readiness, not unnecessary training if your dog already meets the standard.
